The Perfect White Tee: Encore

Banana Republic
Thanks to SL's savvy stylistas on Facebook, summer's favorite basic has become a much bigger needle in a very tiny haystack!
Do share, you say.  Here you go, more thoughts on a basic top-ic.
There's the wash-n-wear Banana Republic version (SL bought a couple), the scoop or V-necks at Three Dots, and my personal fave, Talbots'  active tee in luxurious cotton/Modal at under $30. The Southcott Tee is great quality, but pricier than some at $88 and up. And last but not least, if you want to get that borrowed-from-the-boys look, consider heading over to the men's department.
The venerable Wall Street Journal touts the all-white men's T-shirt from a range of brands. Check out Uniglo's $10 Supima cotton tee, 3Sixteen's white tees, coming in at $85 for a 2-pack, and Everlane's basic combed cotton tee. If you're a label-lover, you might shell out $260 for Prada's pack of 3 "cozy" cotton tees. In a size small, those men's tees might just have that drape you're looking for to hide those recent sweet indulgences.
SL's secret to keeping her t-shirts' store-bought crisp is steaming them with her Jiffy Steamer resulting in smoothing those fuzzy little pills. Voila! Looks brand new!

And that's a wrap. Happy hunting down your perfect white tee!
